Hilla: A fire that engulfed agricultural land in Al-Bid’a Al-Kabir area of Al-Mahawil District, north of Hilla, was successfully extinguished by Civil Defense teams on Thursday, with no reported injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah stated that the teams managed to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring lands. He also mentioned that the police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire.
