Basra: Basra Police have successfully arrested a suspect accused of robbing a number of shops on Al-Watan Street.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media of Basra Police Command announced in a statement that detachments from the Aziziyah Police Station managed to apprehend the suspect following the robberies.

The statement highlighted that the arrest was made possible due to accurate information and prompt action by the police force, which quickly responded to the scene of the incident. The suspect was taken into custody, and the stolen items were recovered.

Legal actions have been initiated against the suspect, who is currently detained under the provisions of Article (446) of the Penal Code.
