Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, has outlined the conditions under which the alliance will extend its support to any future government formed after the upcoming parliamentary elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the electoral announcement event for the alliance, al-Hakim emphasized that the support of the National State Forces Alliance will hinge on the adherence to specific principles by the next government. He articulated the alliance’s vision for a government that is both politically and administratively cohesive, and is capable of effectively converting challenges into opportunities. Furthermore, al-Hakim stressed the importance of a government that empowers young people, transforming them into leaders and builders of the nation.

Al-Hakim further explained that the alliance does not wish to support a government that lacks decisiveness or the ability to implement decisions, highlighting the need for active participation in governance. He also underscored that any government seeking the alliance’s support should not ignore the rights of the people or their representation in both parliamentary and governmental spheres.
