Hezbollah Condemns Israeli Aggression on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Hezbollah in Lebanon condemned on Saturday the Israeli aggression targeting Al-Msailah-Najariya road in southern Lebanon, stressing that the attack is part of a systematic policy aimed at striking civilians and economic infrastructure to prevent residents from returning to their normal lives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah stated that the Israeli enemy launched an attack at dawn on Al-Msailah-Najariya road, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several civilians, along with significant material damage to properties and livelihoods.

The statement emphasized that this assault is part of a series of repeated and deliberate attacks on innocent civilians and economic structures, constituting a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty. Hezbollah views this as an attempt to impose a new security reality that disrupts normal life in the south.

Hezbollah highlighted that the ongoing aggression reflects the arrogance and brutality of the Israeli occupation. This occurs under the watch of the guarantor states of the ceasefire agreement and the monitoring committee, amid Arab and international silence and full U.S. backing, all of which embolden the enemy to persist in its violations.

The party called for a unified national stance from all Lebanese and a firm official response that matches the level of existing threats. They urged intensified diplomatic and political efforts, raising the issue at Arab and international forums, and submitting an urgent complaint to the United Nations Security Council to pressure Israel to halt its attacks.

The statement concluded by affirming that this aggression cannot go unanswered, and the Lebanese state must assume its national responsibility to protect its people. It also paid tribute to the steadfast people of the south who confront the aggression with resilience and make great sacrifices to defend their land, their dignity, and their homeland.
