Salah al-din: The Eastern Salah al-Din Operations Command has commenced a series of security operations aimed at ensuring the safety of the upcoming elections. These operations were conducted under the supervision of the Operations Commander and involved various units associated with the Command.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command's recent efforts included clearing a 2,310-meter road of remnants left by ISIS terrorist groups. During this operation, a hideout was discovered, containing an explosive device and an 82 mm mortar shell. The Command's engineering team successfully processed and detonated these materials on-site.

In preparation for the 2025 Council of Representatives Elections, the Command conducted its first security exercise. This exercise is part of a broader strategy to guarantee a secure environment for both voters and the Electoral Commission. The exercise was successfully completed, marking a significant step in early election security preparations.
