Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji chaired an expanded meeting on Monday with senior officials of the National Security Chancellery, including general directors, department heads, and staff members, to review the progress of work and discuss ways to enhance institutional performance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al-Araji stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and raising efficiency across all areas of work, calling on employees to avoid engaging in unproductive interactions on social media platforms. He emphasized the need to adhere to administrative laws and regulations that govern the work of public employees, noting that every government employee represents the state and must shoulder their responsibilities in a way that reflects positively on their institution.

Al-Araji also directed the Directorate for Combating Extremism Leading to Terrorism to monitor any sectarian or ethnically extremist discourse, affirming the government's commitment to strengthening civil peace and countering anything that may threaten societal security.
