Al-Sadr Directs Followers to Avoid Provocations Against Election Candidates

Baghdad: The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, has issued a directive to his followers, urging them to maintain discipline and refrain from engaging in provocations against election candidates from the Shiite National Movement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saraya al-Salam media reported that the leadership of divisions and brigades across all governorates has been instructed to exercise restraint, seize the opportunity for peaceful engagement, and avoid being drawn into provocations by other parties. This move aims to ensure a stable and peaceful electoral process, amidst rising tensions between rival factions.
