Baghdad: MP Mohammed Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, Secretary-General of Ajiyal Gathering, has issued a call to action, urging citizens to participate widely and actively in the upcoming elections, framing them as a national day and a popular revolution against corruption.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sayhoud emphasized in a statement today the importance of November 11th as a pivotal moment for the nation. He described the day as an opportunity for citizens to stand against corruption and the corrupt, warning that not participating in the elections could disrupt the political process and lead the country into uncertainty.
Al-Sayhoud further articulated that the elections are a real opportunity for change, reform, and the establishment of a just and strong state. He appealed to the public to fulfill their national responsibility during this crucial period by choosing competent and honest individuals dedicated to the welfare of Iraq and its people.
