Baghdad: The Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned artist Mahdi Al-Najm, who passed away today as a result of a tragic run-over accident. The Syndicate offered its deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues, asking Almighty God to have mercy on the deceased and grant him eternal peace.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Syndicate called on the relevant security authorities to take urgent action to pursue the case and arrest the perpetrator, who fled after the accident, to achieve justice and bring justice to the soul of the late artist. The late artist Mahdi Al-Najm was a member of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate and worked in the Theaters Department of the Cinema and Theater Department.
