Al-Araji Highlights Iraq’s Global Engagement During Meeting with German Ambassador

Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji affirmed that the Iraqi government is continuing to open up to countries around the world.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Chancellery stated in a statement: "Al-Araji met today in his office with the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Daniel Kreber."

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, serving the common interests of the two countries. The importance of continued cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest was also emphasized, contributing to enhancing security and stability and supporting development efforts in Iraq.

The meeting also touched upon the importance of dismantling al-Hol camp, given the security and humanitarian challenge it poses. They also emphasized the need to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza, given its direct impact on enhancing the security and stability of the Middle East.

Al-Araji affirmed: "The Iraqi government is continuing to open up to countries around the world, in a way that enhances Iraq's supreme interests."
