Baghdad: The Federal Board of Supreme Audit has brought to light the financial obligations of Asiacell and Zain Iraq mobile phone companies, reporting that the two companies owe a combined total of more than 155 billion dinars to the government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Federal Board of Supreme Audit has formally communicated these financial details to the Council of Representatives, highlighting the significant debts accumulated by Asiacell and Zain Iraq. The disclosure underscores the financial responsibilities these telecommunications companies have towards the state.
