Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command announced, on Monday, the results of removing violations from irrigation rivers and water quotas allocated for irrigating crops, as 1,049 unlicensed fish lakes were filled in and broken, in addition to removing 196 unlicensed water pumps.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this achievement comes through support and cooperation duties with the cadres of the Ministry of Water Resources within the areas of responsibility of the 6th and 17th Infantry Divisions and the 1st and 5th Federal Police Divisions in the areas surrounding the capital.
