Baghdad: President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed Iraq's support for the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate rights. A presidential statement stated: "The President of the Republic received today, Monday, at Baghdad Palace, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, on the occasion of the end of his tenure."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President of the Republic affirmed Iraq's supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate rights. The President appreciated Al-Ruwaidi's efforts in strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his thanks and gratitude to the President of the Republic for the support and cooperation he witnessed during his tenure, praising Iraq's steadfast positions on the Palestinian cause.
