Tehran: National Security Adviser Qassem al-Araji stressed that dialogue and diplomatic channels are the best way to resolve international issues. A statement by his media office stated that the Iraqi security delegation in the Iranian capital, Tehran, today, headed by National Security Adviser Qassem al-Araji, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araqchi, and his accompanying delegation. According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, relations between the two neighboring countries were reviewed, in addition to discussing issues of common interest, especially threats in the Middle East and their developments. They also emphasized the importance of working to stabilize the region and encourage diplomatic dialogue, which will lead to de-escalation and establish a more stable phase in the region. The statement also highlighted that Al-Araji reiterated Iraq's firm and supportive stance towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the peace process, stressing that dialogue and diplomatic channels are the best way to resolve international issues.
