Yarallah and Security Cooperation Office Director Discuss Security and Military Collaboration


Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, engaged in discussions with the new Director of the Security Cooperation Office in Iraq, focusing on sustaining collaboration and coordination in the security and military sectors, alongside enhancing capacity building.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Defense highlighted that Yarallah met with the new Director of the Security Cooperation Office in Iraq, extending congratulations on the new appointment and expressing wishes for success in the role. The dialogue centered around maintaining cooperation and coordination in the security and military arenas, with an emphasis on providing logistical support and bolstering efforts to advance the military establishment. This aims to strengthen the combat capabilities of the Iraqi army across various levels.



The Director of the office underscored the significance of regular meetings with the Army Chief of Staff to advance cooperation concerning equipment and armament. The commitment to continue supporting and assisting the security forces as needed was also reaffirmed.
