Interior Minister and Albanian Ambassador Discuss Security Coordination

Baghdad: Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Hosa, ways of security and military coordination between the two countries. The meeting took place in Al-Shammari's office and included discussions with an accompanying delegation from Albania as well as several commanders and officers from the Ministry of Interior.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on a range of topics of mutual interest. These included enhancing prospects for joint cooperation and exploring means of security and military coordination between Iraq and Albania. Both parties expressed a keen interest in strengthening ties and working closely on security matters to benefit both nations.

The statement from the Ministry of Interior also highlighted the exploration of mechanisms for enhancing cooperation in various security fields. The discussions aimed at exchanging expertise and experiences to serve the common interests of both Iraq and Albania, indicating an ongoing commitment to deepening bilateral relations and fostering a collaborative approach to regional security challenges.
