Mosul: The "First International Book Forum and Fair" launched today at the University of Mosul, with the participation of a number of local, Arab, and international publishing houses. The exhibition will continue until November 1.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exhibition supervisor at the University of Mosul, Mohammed Al-Obaidi, stated that a wide range of books in various literary and intellectual fields will be displayed. He explained that the exhibition aims to revive the cultural scene in the city and enhance communication between intellectuals and readers. Additionally, the event will organize cultural and heritage activities to emphasize the significance of books and reading in shaping societal awareness.

The exhibition is set to host numerous activities, including cultural seminars, dialogues with writers and thinkers, and displays of rare books that cater to various segments of society.
