Baghdad: Defense Minister Thabet Mohammed Saeed Al-Abbasi engaged in discussions with Croatian Foreign Minister Kordan Grlic Radman regarding potential collaboration in defense industries, armament, and training.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Iraq and Croatia, highlighting their deep historical connections. The discussions aimed at reviving these ties to benefit both countries' interests.

The dialogue also included exploring cooperation in defense industries, armament, training, capacity development, and the clearance of war remnants. Croatian Foreign Minister Radman commended the Iraqi armed forces for their efforts in combating terrorism, noting their significant achievements during liberation battles.

Defense Minister Al-Abbasi appreciated the visit, viewing it as a step towards extensive future cooperation between the two nations.
