Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid has affirmed his full support for the Independent High Electoral Commission's (IHEC) efforts to organize an electoral process characterized by integrity and transparency, reflecting the true will of voters. He stressed the need to provide everything necessary for the success of this national event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the presidency released a statement indicating that President Rashid received the Chairman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Omar Ahmed, alongside the Head of the Electoral Administration, Judge Amer Musa, at Baghdad Palace. The meeting involved a briefing on the commission's latest preparations for the upcoming elections, including technical and logistical plans and measures taken to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and the Head of the Electoral Administration expressed their commitment to completing all necessary technical and administrative arrangements to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process. They highlighted their dedication to reflecting citizens' aspirations and guaranteeing their right to choose freely, and they appreciated the President's continued support for their efforts.
