According to National Iraqi News Agency, the presidency released a statement indicating that President Rashid received the Chairman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Omar Ahmed, alongside the Head of the Electoral Administration, Judge Amer Musa, at Baghdad Palace. The meeting involved a briefing on the commission's latest preparations for the upcoming elections, including technical and logistical plans and measures taken to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and the Head of the Electoral Administration expressed their commitment to completing all necessary technical and administrative arrangements to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.
