Dohuk: Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, met with Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to discuss the political developments following the parliamentary elections and the progress of national understandings among political forces in preparation for the next phase.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his meeting with Barzani in Dohuk, al-Samarrai emphasized, as stated by his media office, that "the current phase requires joint action and a responsible vision that reflects the aspirations of Iraqis to build a strong state and effective institutions."

He highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between Baghdad and Erbil and unifying efforts to ensure the country's stability. Al-Samarrai also expressed his appreciation for the national role played by President Barzani in supporting dialogue and consolidating partnership among the various components of Iraqi society.
