Hilla: Emergency police units in the Al-Soub Al-Saghir district of Babylon Governorate thwarted an attempt to smuggle crystal methamphetamine hidden inside a shoe attached to a motorcycle (satota).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Babylon Police Media Director, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, stated: “During a patrol in Al-Bakrli area of central Hilla, a motorcycle without license plates and a shoe tied suspiciously beside it caught the attention of an emergency patrol.”

He added: “With keen vigilance, the patrol stopped the motorcycle and conducted a thorough search, which revealed a quantity of drugs inside the shoe. The driver was attempting to smuggle them using this disguise. The suspect was immediately arrested and referred to the relevant authorities.”
