Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met with Masoud Haider, advisor to Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to discuss the internal and regional situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the National Security Chancellery Office indicated that al-Araji received Haider to deliberate on the upcoming political landscape following the successful parliamentary elections. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of the next phase witnessing greater stability and continued positive cooperation between the central government and the Kurdistan Region on all levels.
