Baghdad: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the Third Baghdad International Conference on Combating Drugs. A statement from his media office indicated that al-Sudani inaugurated the conference, which is being held in Baghdad from December 7-8, with the participation of delegations from 12 brotherly and friendly countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference aims to address the growing challenge of drug trafficking and abuse in the region. The participating delegations are expected to discuss strategies for enhancing regional cooperation and developing effective measures to combat drug-related issues.
