Baghdad: The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mahdi Suhr al-Jubouri, met today with the Economic Advisor at the Jordanian Embassy in Iraq, Amer al-Zoubi, to discuss efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that Mahdi Suhr al-Jubouri affirmed during his meeting with Amer al-Zoubi the Ministry of Agriculture’s commitment to enhancing its regional role and supporting economic integration to serve the interests of the agricultural sector in both countries. A number of issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
