Diwaniyah: The activities of the 2025 Investment and Entrepreneurship Forum kicked off at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University – Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College. The three-day event is held under the motto: ‘Towards a Sustainable Entrepreneurial Environment.’

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Media at the Polytechnic College, Ahmed Thabet, reported that various governmental and non-governmental institutions took part in the forum, showcasing their key initiatives through dedicated booths and highlighting their role in supporting the private sector and promoting entrepreneurship within the province. He added that the event also aims to introduce available initiatives and opportunities for entrepreneurs and innovators.

For his part, the President of the Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce, Mahmoud Al-Waeli, stated that their participation aims to support students and job seekers by empowering them to enter the labor market. This is achieved by strengthening communication with private-sector institutions and opening channels of cooperation that help develop their entrepreneurial and professional skills, thus improving their employment prospects and contributing to the growth of the local economic environment.
