Caracas: Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil affirmed that “the US attacks constitute a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and threaten international peace and stability.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Gil stated in a press release: “We reject the aggression against our country, which is a flagrant violation of the UN Charter,” adding, “Any attempt to change the ruling regime in our country will fail, just as all previous attempts have failed.”

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister indicated that “the US is behind the recent attacks targeting residential areas and infrastructure,” emphasizing that his country reserves the right to exercise legitimate defense of its people, territory, and sovereignty.
