Al-Khazali Declares His Disavowal Of Those Involved In Threatening Civil Peace In Maysan


Maysan: The Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, announced on Saturday his disavowal of anyone involved in threatening civil peace in Maysan.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh al-Khazali expressed his concerns on the (x) platform, addressing the ongoing attempts to incite strife among the people of Maysan Governorate. He highlighted past events, including the assassination of Commander Wissam al-Ulayawi and his brothers, as painful incidents that have been overcome with resilience.



Sheikh al-Khazali emphasized the movement’s commitment to resolving conflicts through legal means, discouraging exploitation by those seeking to incite further unrest. He underscored the importance of adhering to legal processes in addressing incidents and called upon security forces to diligently combat criminal activities.



In his statement, Sheikh al-Khazali clearly stated his disavowal of individuals involved in actions that jeopardize civil peace and the safety of the populace, emphasizing the movement’s dedication to law and order.
