Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed today that the US attack on Venezuela is a violation of peace and its repercussions threaten the international order.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry condemned the US attack on Venezuela, describing it as a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement highlighted that “the military aggression against Venezuela constitutes a clear breach of the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law.”

The statement further declared, “The US attack on an independent state and a member of the United Nations is a violation of peace and security, and its repercussions threaten the international order.” It underscored that “Venezuela has the inherent right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and its people have the right to self-determination.”
