Baghdad: Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadrist Movement, has issued a stern warning against the influence of rogue militias accused of shedding Iraqi blood. He emphasized the importance of steering clear of the sedition and schemes orchestrated by corrupt entities within the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr released an official statement, personally handwritten and signed, in response to the killing of a prominent leader of the Sadrist Movement in Maysan Governorate. He underscored the necessity of maintaining legal and disciplined tribal actions while preventing any form of escalation. Al-Sadr’s message urged his followers to resist being drawn into potentially destabilizing activities driven by corrupt agendas.
