Diyala: The Diyala Police Command announced the arrest of ten people involved in a brawl that occurred in one of the governorate’s villages, and the seizure of the weapons used in the incident.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Police Command stated in a press release: “After receiving information about a brawl in Al-Mustafa village, on the outskirts of Al-Abara district, northeast of Baquba, a specialized security team was formed. After gathering information and investigating the parties involved in the brawl, all those arrested were apprehended, and the weapons used in the fight were seized.”
The Command explained that the incident stemmed from old family disputes, and the necessary legal procedures were taken against them.
The Diyala Police Command affirmed its continued commitment to dealing firmly with any incidents that disrupt security and public order, urging citizens to resolve disputes through legal channels and to report any emergencies to maintain social peace.
