Reconstruction and Development and State of Law Coalition Discuss Strengthening Parliamentary Cooperation


Baghdad: The parliamentary blocs of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, led by Bahaa al-Araji, and the State of Law Coalition, led by Yasser al-Maliki, convened a joint meeting today to deliberate on mechanisms for enacting legislation according to a priority scale that addresses citizens’ needs and serves their daily lives. Baghdad: A statement by the Reconstruction and Development Coalition indicated that the discussion aimed to strengthen joint cooperation to support the work of Parliament and enhance its legislative and oversight role.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also focused on a number of issues of common interest, with the goal of reaching converging visions and understandings that serve the public interest. The collaboration between the two coalitions highlights their commitment to advancing legislative agendas that are aligned with citizens’ requirements and improving the efficacy of parliamentary functions.
