Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of adhering to the established constitutional timelines. A statement from his media office indicated that “Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National State Forces Alliance, received Bafel Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and his accompanying delegation at his office. They exchanged views on developments in the Iraqi political landscape and the nature of upcoming milestones, emphasizing the need to adhere to the established constitutional timelines.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim recalled “the legacy of the late President Mam Jalal Talabani (may God have mercy on him) and the close relationship that united the al-Hakim family with the Talabani family,” stressing “the importance of unity among all components of the Iraqi people and prioritizing the public interest over private interests.”
He pointed to “the importance of maintaining the achieved stability and working to transform it into lasting stability,” emphasizing that “Iraq faces economic and climatic challenges that require everyone to share the national burden and work with a spirit of shared responsibility to confront them.”
