Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down 59 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions overnight.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry reported that 11 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, 10 over Krasnodar Krai, 8 over Bryansk Oblast, 6 over Lipetsk Oblast, and 4 each over Kaluga Oblast, the Sea of Azov, the Republic of Adygea, and Crimea.

The ministry added that 3 drones were shot down over the Moscow region, including one that was heading towards the capital. Air defenses also shot down 2 drones over Belgorod Oblast, 1 over Voronezh Oblast, 1 over Smolensk Oblast, and 1 over Tula Oblast.
