Federal Police Command Arrests Eight Suspects in Baghdad for Murder, Drug Dealing, and Forgery


Baghdad: Federal Police Command forces arrested eight suspects in Baghdad on charges of murder, drug dealing, and forgery.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a press release that the First Federal Police Division apprehended the suspects under the provisions of legal articles covering premeditated murder, drugs, forgery, and affray. The arrests took place in the areas of Al-Amin, Al-Nahrawan, Al-Karrada, and Jisr Diyala in Baghdad.



The police operation led to the seizure of various illegal items, including crystal meth, narcotic pills, an electronic scale, five different rifles, nine ammunition magazines, four pistols, and other materials. The arrests and seizures mark a significant move by the Federal Police Command in combating crime in the region.
