Najaf Governorate Council Honors Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Head for Contributions to Journalism


Najaf: The head of the Najaf Governorate Council, Dr. Hussein Al-Issawi, presented a Shield of Excellence to the head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad Al-Lami. This recognition was awarded for Al-Lami’s efforts in advancing Iraqi journalism.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the presentation took place during a meeting where Dr. Al-Issawi highlighted the significant role played by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate on local, regional, and international stages. He acknowledged the Syndicate’s influence and contributions towards the development of journalism in Iraq.

Muayyad Al-Lami expressed gratitude for the continuous support extended to the journalistic community within Najaf Governorate. He appreciated the recognition and reiterated the Syndicate’s commitment to fostering journalistic integrity.

The meeting also addressed various issues of mutual interest. It emphasized the importance of media in supporting institutional work, addressing community issues, and preserving social stability.
