Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, has underscored the importance of adhering to constitutional deadlines for the selection of the remaining presidencies and the formation of the government.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Alliance’s media office issued a press release stating that Al-Hakim met with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glenn Miles, at his office in Baghdad. The meeting focused on developments in Iraq’s political landscape and the region, as well as bilateral relations between Iraq and Australia, and explored ways to enhance these relations for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
Al-Hakim highlighted Iraq’s accumulation of positive developments, noting the significant security, social, and political progress that has contributed to the country’s current stability. He reiterated the importance of adhering to constitutional deadlines for the selection of the remaining presidencies and the formation of the government.
