Baghdad: Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, met today with the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Adnan Faihan, to discuss the situation in the country and the completion of constitutional requirements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Fayyad’s office indicated that the meeting took place at al-Fayyad’s office in Baghdad. The discussions centered on the overall situation in the country, with an emphasis on the necessity of completing constitutional requirements to ensure continued stability and preserve the gains achieved.

Both parties underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint coordination. They also focused on supporting the PMF legislatively, which they believe would contribute to developing institutional security performance and enhancing its organizational and logistical capabilities.
