Al-Sudani and Al-Hakim Discuss Government Formation and Coordination Framework Unity


Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani at his Baghdad office Sunday evening to discuss developments in the political landscape, the formation of the next government, and the unity of the coordination framework.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by Al-Hakim’s office indicated that he stressed during the meeting the importance of adhering to the constitutional deadlines for filling the remaining three top leadership positions.



Al-Hakim emphasized the unity of the coordination framework, stating that it is one of the most important pillars of the current stability the country is witnessing. He noted that it has presented a successful model that others have sought to replicate. Al-Hakim further explained that the achieved stability was comprehensive in its political, social, and security aspects, calling for addressing the economic challenge with more strategic plans and solutions that reduce the rentier state and stimulate productive sectors.
