Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein’s Official Visit to Tehran


Tehran: Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran on Sunday for an official visit. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that “Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived today in the Iranian capital, Tehran, for an official visit.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his visit, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein is scheduled to meet with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, in addition to a number of other Iranian officials.

The statement further noted that “the discussions that Fuad Hussein will be held will focus on bilateral relations between the two countries.”
