Baghdad: Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, received Kuwaiti Ambassador Hassan Mohammed al-Zaman and French Ambassador Patrick Durel separately at his office today. A statement from al-Maliki’s office revealed that discussions during the meetings focused on the political situation in Iraq, the recent election results, and forthcoming constitutional obligations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Maliki emphasized Iraq’s commitment to strengthening relations and widening cooperation across multiple sectors. He also urged for increased efforts to bolster security and stability, both regionally and internationally.
