Erbil: Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani congratulated Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, in a phone call on his nomination for the position of Prime Minister of the Federal Government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the call, Barzani expressed his wishes for success and the beginning of a new phase dedicated to serving all Iraqi citizens and resolving outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government. This effort aims to address concerns based on the Constitution and uphold the respect for the federal entity of the Kurdistan Region.
