Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received the South Korean Ambassador to Iraq, Lee Joon-il, on Wednesday. The Korean ambassador delivered a congratulatory message from the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Oh Wan-shik, to al-Halbousi, offering his congratulations on his election to the sixth parliamentary session and wishing him success in his duties.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed the importance of parliamentary cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and South Korea.
