Baghdad: The Sadiqun parliamentary bloc has underscored the critical importance of adhering to constitutional deadlines for electing the president of the republic. The bloc views this as a fundamental element in completing the constitutional framework of the state, ensuring the nation’s sovereign and institutional stability while avoiding any political vacuum or unnecessary obstruction.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during its regular meeting, the Sadiqun bloc agreed that meeting constitutional obligations on time demonstrates the commitment of political forces to safeguard the constitutional system. This approach is seen as essential for reinforcing citizens’ confidence in state institutions and supporting the stability and continuity of the state. The bloc emphasized the necessity of placing the supreme national interest above all other considerations.
