Erbil: Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, and Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, emphasized the importance of dialogue and understanding among political forces on Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by the Azm Alliance’s media office indicated that al-Samarrai, accompanied by several leaders and members of parliament from the Alliance, met with Barzani in Erbil and discussed the overall political developments at the national level and the requirements of the upcoming phase.

The statement added that the meeting addressed the importance of strengthening dialogue and understanding between Baghdad and Erbil, consolidating institutional cooperation between the federal and regional authorities, and responsibly addressing constitutional obligations in a way that contributes to supporting political stability, ensuring the smooth functioning of state institutions, and serving the interests of citizens in all governorates.
