Baghdad: Head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Humam Hammoudi, emphasized today, Monday, the importance of adhering to constitutional timelines and demonstrating a spirit of responsibility and cooperation in resolving entitlements.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by his media office indicated that “Sheikh Humam Hammoudi, head of the Supreme Islamic Council, received a delegation from the leadership of the Islamic Dawa Party and discussed with them the latest local and regional developments, the national movement towards completing the formation of the remaining presidencies, the importance of harmony within the framework, and its role in achieving national consensus.”

The statement further highlighted that Sheikh Hammoudi affirmed the constitution’s role in making the people the source of national decision-making and the primary foundation of the state’s sovereignty and strength. He emphasized that respecting the choices of its national forces is a guarantee for the country’s stability and progress.
