Riyadh: Iranian warships approached a US-flagged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. Western media reported that six Iranian warships approached the vessel, which was being escorted by a US warship, in the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Vanguard Maritime Risk Management Group indicated that the vessel did not enter Iranian territorial waters.
