Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested 21 foreigners for violating residency regulations.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a press release that the arrests occurred concurrently with area search and inspection operations. The security forces, in collaboration with intelligence agencies and oversight bodies, have been monitoring and auditing commercial and industrial projects along with the files of foreign workers. Units from the 17th Infantry Division and the 1st Federal Police Division managed to close an unlicensed warehouse containing materials of unknown origin. They also arrested 21 foreigners for breaching residency and citizenship regulations in the areas of Al-Ubaidi Presidency and Al-Safa neighborhood/Al-Mahmoudiya district, spanning both the Karkh and Rusafa sides of the city.
