Baghdad: Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi al-Amiri met separately with the Kuwaiti and Jordanian ambassadors to discuss the political and security situation in Iraq and the rapidly evolving regional developments.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Amiri’s office indicated that he received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Mohammed al-Zaman, at his office in Baghdad. The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, along with regional and international issues of common interest.
Both parties stressed the significance of fostering cooperation and deepening communication, reflecting mutual understanding and contributing to shared interests. Al-Amiri also met with the Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq, Maher Tarawneh, where discussions centered on Iraq’s political and security challenges, regional developments, and their broader implications.
The talks further explored the historical ties between Iraq and Jordan, highlighting the need for strengthening joint cooperation and expanding coordination to enhance their partnership and mutual benefits.
