Maysan: Lieutenant General Jalil Abdul-Ridha Mohammed, Commander of Maysan Operations, chaired an expanded security meeting at the provincial police headquarters. The meeting included directors of police stations, commanders, heads of security and intelligence agencies, support forces, and officers from police stations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on the overall security situation in the province, reviewing plans and procedures to enhance security and stability. Emphasis was placed on maximizing field and intelligence efforts to execute judicial arrest warrants, pursue wanted individuals, and hold perpetrators of crimes accountable within established legal frameworks.

The attendees also highlighted the importance of intensifying joint security operations, strengthening coordination among various security formations, addressing violations, and increasing the pace of field deployments. These efforts aim to consolidate the rule of law, protect the lives and property of citizens, and maintain security and stability in Maysan province.
