Anbar: The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) revealed details of the suicide bombing in Anbar province on Friday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, INSS spokesperson Arshad al-Hakim announced that Iraqi National Security Service detachments in Anbar province, acting on precise intelligence, surrounded a terrorist hideout. The hideout was reported to contain the so-called ‘Anbar security chief’ along with his companion, both identified as members of the ISIS terrorist organization.

Al-Hakim further elaborated that the two terrorists chose to detonate themselves during the operation, resulting in their deaths. This operation highlights the continued threat posed by ISIS in the region and the ongoing efforts by Iraqi security forces to combat terrorism within the country.
